Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Monitor and measure the operational performance of the Company’s Electrical equipment. Identify areas for improvement, by supervising the Electrical PM System (Predictive, preventive and corrective)
  • Review, audit and verify of all Electrical work orders to ensure timely completion and quality of input prior to closing out is at a satisfactory level.
  • Support maintenance superintendents and drilling operations as required to ensure maintenance is delivered effectively.
  • Personally conduct maintenance inspections of the rig(s) under supervision and maintain records of those inspections. 
  • Create, review and participate in the investigation of equipment failures.
  • Analyze and assist in establishing root cause and implementing remedial measures. 
  • Manage and direct the utilization of resources to minimize NPT. 
  • Manage and direct the maintenance activities at assigned rigs.
  • Assist to develop and implement appropriate technical standards within the Company’s management system.
  • To take accountable for overall rig Electricalmaintenance staff to ensure a motivated disciplined and productive workforce, this includes effective staff leadership and communication.
  • Evaluate personnel under supervision and recommend promotions, salary changes, transfers, termination, etc., when required.
  • Ensure all work is performed within the requirements and guidance of the company Maintenance management system.
  •  Plan and execute major overhaul of Electrical drilling equipment
  • Create and review TRF SOW and related criteria as required to execute maintenance activities
  • Create and update required records related to industry standards (API, ISO ect)
  • Conduct interviews for technical personnel
  • Minimize overall Electrical equipment spending based on highest preventive maintenance standard.
  • Assist company organization in retrieving money from incorrect materials and warranty claims.
  • Control assigned rigs Electrical material cost by monitoring the daily Electrical material consumption.
  • Control assigned rig Electrical repair cost by controlling and minimizing the external repair of equipment.
  • Close out financially all maintenance activity (Service entry, Accrual).

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in electrical engineering or equivalent. 
  • 6 years of experience.
