Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Serve as the ultimate technical authority for all active pumping operations. Maintain oversight of multiple active wellheads and execution footprints across the Sultanate.
  • Review and approve all post-job execution data, treating pressure charts, and chemical/proppant consumption logs for accuracy before submitting to the respective Project Managers for client invoicing.
  • Lead daily operational safety meetings, pre-job safety briefings (PJSM), and coordinate complex technical handovers between rotating crews on different client projects.
  • Operational:
  • Multi-Fleet Execution: Direct the precise execution of complex hydraulic fracturing and stimulation designs (slickwater, crosslinked gels, high-viscosity friction reducers, acidizing) across various reservoirs and client specifications.
  • Asset Reliability: Partner strictly with the field maintenance teams to track the health of high-pressure pumps, blenders, hydration units, and the missile. Enforce preventative maintenance cycles to eliminate catastrophic equipment failures during a stage, regardless of the project location.
  • Iron Integrity: Command the safe rig-up, pressure testing, and rig-down of all high-pressure treating iron. Ensure strict compliance with annual iron recertification and wall-thickness tracking.
  • QA/QC Enforcement: Oversee the Frac Lab and Field Engineers in conducting continuous Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) of water sources, linear gels, and proppant sieve profiles prior to entering the blender.
  • Personnel training and competency:
  • Drive the technical competency of Abraj Frac Supervisors and Equipment Operators across all fleets, specifically focusing on pump diagnostics, cross-training for different client requirements, screen-out prevention, and emergency shut-down protocols.
  • Ensure personal annual objectives and periodic performance reviews for all direct reports are completed in accordance with HR directions and timelines.

Minimum Requirments:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Management, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Logistics.
  • 10 years’ experience in Oil & Gas industry.
