Floor Man

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Perform duties safely and professionally in compliance with HSE standards, actively participating in Toolbox Talks, safety meetings, and drills.
• Assist the Driller and Assistant Driller in all drilling and workover operations on the drill floor.
• Operate and handle drilling equipment including tongs, slips, elevators, iron roughneck, pipe spinner, air hoist, and other related tools.
• Provide manual support for pipe handling activities such as making up/breaking out pipe, racking, stabbing, and casing operations.
• Maintain, inspect, and carry out preventive and routine maintenance of drilling equipment and floor tools.
• Assist in rig-up, rig-down, BOP nipple-up, casing operations, and other specialized tasks as directed.
• Ensure cleanliness, housekeeping, and proper organization of the drill floor, tools, and equipment, including painting and greasing activities.
• Support drilling fluid activities such as mixing mud, checking viscosity/weight, and maintaining shale shakers when required.
• Participate as part of the well control team during shut-in procedures in line with company standards.
• Measure drill pipe and casing, maintain thread connections, and replace lines as required.
• Carry out additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Driller to support efficient rig operations and team development.

Minimum Requirements:

• General education diploma with 4 years of experience.
