Description:
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Operate, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all rig-site and camp electrical, electronic, and instrumentation systems (SCR, VFD, traction motors, power generation, AC motors, instrumentation, UPS, CCTV, HVAC, sewage, and camp utilities).
- Lead electrical activities during rig moves, including dismantling, rig-up, testing, and commissioning.
- Utilize CMMS to track maintenance activities, monitor equipment history, and improve asset uptime in coordination with PME.
- Plan and execute short-term maintenance schedules, including 72-hour look-ahead plans aligned with drilling operations.
- Supervise and verify third-party maintenance and certification work.
- Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring availability of critical components and timely requisitions.
- Ensure compliance of electrical systems in hazardous areas with Ex/ATEX standards.
- Enforce HSE procedures, including LOTO, electrical safety, and permit-to-work systems.
- Lead, train, and develop the electrical team, including performance management and competency development.
- Collaborate with Mechanical, Drilling, and HSE teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Minimum Requirments:
- Bachelor’s in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- 4 years of experience.
